Catering Assistant (out of hours) required for Dorothy Stringer School – Part Time, Temporary until 31 April 2026

Job Ref: SU454

Hours: Part Time, minimum 2.5 hours per week. For example, 10-11am Saturday and Sunday 10-11:30am.  Hours will be advised in advance.

Closing Date: Midday Wednesday 17 December 2025

Interview Date: Week Commencing 5 January 2026

Salary: Scale 3, Point 7-8, hourly rate of £13.69 – £13.90

Starting Date: January / February 2026

An enthusiastic and professional catering assistant is required to work in our catering POD onsite at Dorothy Stringer School.

The purpose of the role is

  • To prepare and serve soft and hot drinks and prepared snacks out of the catering POD to visitors attending out of hours sports fixtures at Dorothy Stringer School in accordance with agreed schedules/rotas of work.
  • To provide friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
  • To be customer focussed at all times and project a willing and helpful attitude to customers
