News

We send a Weekly News Update to all our parents and carers each Friday, with highlights and news from the week in school.

You can also follow us on Instagram to keep up with recent school events and news – @dorothystringerschool.

Additionally, at the end of each term we publish The Stringer Press, our news publication that celebrates some of the many events, student successes and departmental news that have taken place over the course of the term. Scroll down to view our most recent edition.

For International Women’s Day, we asked our students and staff to share the women who inspire them - both within our school community and beyond. We also invited them to reflect on what International Women’s Day means to them and the barriers they hope to see broken down.

The response was overwhelming, heartfelt, and powerful. We’ve turned this into a three-part reel series to celebrate the incredible women around us. Thank you to the staff and students for sharing 🤍
