Casual Swimming Teacher required for Surrenden Pool

The Surrenden Pool, which sits on the same campus as Dorothy Stringer School, is managed as a partnership between the school and Brighton & Hove City Council.  The council maintain the infrastructure of the pool, and the school manage its day to day activities.

We seek to appoint a Swimming Teacher to join our team, specifically to cover the following shift:

Thursdays 9:15 – 10:35pm

Also to occasionally cover Wednesdays – 7:30 – 8:30am and any additional shifts that might arise.

The successful candidate will need a proven track of Swimming Teaching, as well as having a good understanding of swimming pool compliance and the associated Health & Safety rigour.  They will have the ability to work in partnerships within and beyond the school, and the passion and drive to ensure the successful running of the pool.
